Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by CleanHistory ("we," "our," or "us") through our website cleanhistory.com. By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

CleanHistory provides a professional Google review removal service. We identify reviews on Google Business Profiles that violate Google's content policies and file disputes on behalf of our clients through Google's official channels to seek the removal of those reviews.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement to use our Service. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you are the owner, authorized representative, or manager of the Google Business Profile for which you are requesting review removal.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Fee Structure

Our fee is $400 per successfully removed review. This fee is charged only after a review has been confirmed as permanently removed from your Google Business Profile.

3.2 No Upfront Payment

We do not charge any upfront fees, deposits, retainers, or subscription costs. You are only obligated to pay upon successful removal.

3.3 Payment Methods

Payment is due within 7 business days of notification of successful removal. We accept major credit cards and wire transfers.

3.4 Refund Policy

Since payment is only collected upon successful removal, refunds are generally not applicable. In the rare event that a removed review is restored by Google within 30 days of removal and we are unable to remove it again, we will issue a full refund for that specific review.

4. Scope of Service

4.1 What We Do

  • Analyze flagged reviews against Google's published content policies
  • Build documented cases with supporting evidence
  • File formal disputes through Google's official support and legal channels
  • Escalate disputes through appropriate Google escalation paths
  • Monitor dispute progress until resolution

4.2 What We Do Not Do

  • Remove legitimate negative reviews from real customers
  • Use bots, hacking, social engineering, or any unauthorized methods
  • Guarantee a specific timeline or outcome for any review removal
  • Post fake positive reviews on your behalf
  • Access or modify your Google Business Profile without authorization

5. No Guarantee of Removal

While we have a strong track record, we cannot guarantee that any specific review will be removed. The final decision on review removal rests with Google. Our service is a best-effort, professional dispute filing service. Our pay-for-results model ensures you bear no financial risk.

6. Client Responsibilities

By using our Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your business and the reviews in question
  • Only request removal of reviews that you genuinely believe violate Google's policies
  • Promptly pay the agreed fee upon successful removal
  • Cooperate with our team by providing any additional information requested

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and materials on our website are the property of CleanHistory and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CleanHistory shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any delay or failure in review removal
  • Any changes Google makes to its policies or review systems
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CleanHistory, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your misrepresentation of facts, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. We will not disclose your identity, business details, or the specifics of your review removal requests to any third party except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. If you choose to terminate while a dispute is pending, you will still be responsible for payment if the review is subsequently removed as a result of our previously filed dispute.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
